1: Product process and classification

Rust stabilization treatment method: Rust stabilization treatment method is the use of chemical methods (rust liquid) to slowly dissolve the surface film of the steel plate, so that it produces rust stability, forming a uniform layer of rust, the rust layer has a protective effect, can inhibit the initial use of steel rust.

Note: From the new weather-resistant steel plate to the generation of a stable, dense rust red protective layer in South China, it takes at least 1 to 2 years, and may be longer for some dry areas of about 5 to 6 years. Therefore, most of the rust promoters are used on the market to accelerate the generation of rust layers, and it is necessary to pay attention to the selection of appropriate rust promoters and appropriate processing methods.

Classification: Weathering steel is divided into high weathering steel (with P relatively high: 0.07~0.15wt%) and welded weathering steel (with P low: ≤0.04wt%). "GNH" and "NH" are added after the original carbon structural steel steel number, and the following weathering steel grades are specified in the national standard GB/T 4171-2008 "Weathering Structural steel" :

2. Common parameters

The thickness of weathering steel sheet is usually 1.5mm~4mm, the thickness of the medium plate is 4mm~20mm, the thick plate is 20mm~60mm, the extra thick plate can reach 80mm, and the width is conventional 0.5m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5mm, 2m and so on. (Different manufacturers have differences, this data is part of the market manufacturers parameters, for reference only)
